3 years ago I met Eugenio Moliní (@EugenioMolini). 3 years ago he spoke me about a trip he wanted start: to sow GAIT.
What is GAIT?
Guild of Agents for Intentional Transformation. An initiative with the mission of teaching people who intervene in organizations and complex systems to introduce changes to increase the impact of their change efforts at the same time that they diminish the pain it causes those that will be affected by the changes.
After 17 years intervening in organizational contexts, living some grateful moments and anothers full of pain, my soul trembled hearing about this initiative.
After 17 years intervening in organizational contexts, living some grateful moments and anothers full of pain, my soul trembled hearing about this initiative.Along these 3 years, GAIT has been growing and has been lived by more and more people, in different ways.
Now a new way to serve the GAIT mission is open:
The Train-in-GAIT programme.
“Calling, Art and Craft of the Agent for Intentional Transformation in organizations and other complex systems”.
Train in GAIT is a program for you who promotes and/or facilitates change processes in organizations and other complex systems. Train-in-GAIT has the mission of teaching you and your peers to increase the impact of your change efforts at the same time that you diminish the pain it causes those that will be affected by the changes, and your own pain when you meet the resistances.
You will train yourself in arts and crafts, grouped as follows:
- One introductory workshop, that will be offered as frequently as possible.
- The program itself, that will be offered once a year, starting 2017.
Train-in-GAIT is designed following the sequence that the GAIT model for Transformation proposes:
Attention – Intention – Intervention – Withdrawal
INTRODUCTION (16 hours) the workshop we have been offering so far.

4) The art of orienting yourself and promoting transformation in organizations and other complex systems.
5) The craft of designing processes, meetings and all kinds of interventions in multiple scales of system.
6) The craft of integrating the usual methods, tools and operations in any transformational process.
WITHDRAWAL and CALLING (16 hours)
7) The craft of closing processes and meetings.
8) The art of re-connecting with your calling an the organization’s strategy, mission and vision.
