When all that’s left is to jump

That was the second time that Employment’s Lanzadera wanted me to facilitate the last workteam session for the Zaragoza’s Lanzadera.
In last Edition the order they ask me was more focused on give support to the workteam for make an internal & external reflection. Internal, about his development als selforganized workteam along the 5 months in Lanzadera Programme while they give support each others in their respectives employment searchs. And external because from this reflection they prepared a public event about Lanzadera at Zaragoza Activa, Azucarera’s Square. Event where I was also invited to speak about selforganized workteams & nets.
At this chance now, the order was only focused on the internal reflection.
“When the time in Lanzadera is over, their members have not more opportunity to have the support of their mates. Suddenly they find their selves in front of the empty abyss. And they’re alone.”That gives us the opportunity to deal with one thing the Coordinator of Zaragoza’s Lanzadera (Pilar Ripolles) and me found essential: and now… what?
I made the design for the session crossing several relevant variables:
- Temporal variable: a back & forwards reflection.
- Competency variable: where I included the skills Pilar indicated to me als relevant for the team.
- Systemic variable: several systemic relevant levels for this session and his objectives.
I facilitated the session kniting the variables in the canvas you can see at the image and using the sticky colour code, focusing the work in the next points:
- Skills developep in the several systemic levels along these months. Success to celebrate + resources we have now.
- Skills still to develop in these several levels.
- Individual fears at this “then, what?” point.
- Exploration of net/selforganized team initiatives, after the end of Lanzadera, to give support.
At the end of this session, my only wish was the work we made could give them some useful brightness.
